Spring Cleaning tips

Recruit a friend or close relative.

Set aside 2 weekends -
one for your house and one for hers or his.

While you're working ask for new tips on remodeling a room or rearranging furniture.  Fresh points of view or ideas are always fun. Likewise with her or him.   When you're finished, have a big yard sale together and splurge on your earnings to go for a manicure or pedicure.  Have fun enjoying each others company while getting a great job done.

To clean your mini blinds, take them down and lay them on a plastic sheet or old vinyl table cloth.  Scrub them with a soft brush or a brush like a car wash brush that has the soap stored in the handle. It's a great way to get them done and they won't get scratched from using the soft brush.

Instead of cleaning a long weekend, try cleaning one room a month.

Start with the living area.  Put away all of the Christmas decorations.

In February clean the kitchen.  Get rid of any of the holiday cookies or candies that have found their way to your pantry.

Then on to the bedrooms and so on.
